About
Established in Melbourne Victoria in 1988. Professional Signs provide a personalised signage service consisting of design, consultation, fabrication & installation.
Chris Pelchen did his award winner apprenticeship at Clifford Signs in 1983, and was exceptionally lucky to be under the guidance of some of the finest signwriting craftsmen of that time. After 5 years in the trade he departed Clifford Signs to start up Professional Signs.
Design and hand-painted signage was ranging from vehicles, displays, shopfronts, factories, honour boards and corporate identification. In 1994, as the trade was evolving into a computer generated industry, we introduced the use of design software, vinyl cutting plotters and digital printing to enable us to provide an even more reliable service to our wide range of clients, all with individual requirements.
Our wealth of knowledge gained in the industry gives us a great advantage. Our quality of work and reliability has helped us develop strong relationships and gain on-going business with our customers. We cater to industry including retail, hotels, hospitality, sporting clubs, schools, trade and manufacturing. We also work in conjunction with designers, architects & advertising companies, adhering to strict branding guidelines as required.

Chris, Thank you. We are extremely pleased with the signage on our new office premises.
It has been a very positive experience working with such a professional organisation. Your suggestions and advice assisted us during the decision making process, nothing seemed to be too much trouble for you and we ended up with the result we were looking for.
I have no hesitation in recommending Professional Signs, and will certainly use you again in the future if we have a need.
Kind regards,
Christine Swale
